SEE MATTHEW GORMAN IN RUM AND VODKA at fringe (SEE REVIEW PAGE 44). EMAIL LETTERS@EYEWEEKLY.COM

Who: Matthew Gorman, 25, Fringe Festival actor and artistic director of Carthorse Theatre (www.carthorsetheatre.com).

What: A two-bedroom apartment in a townhouse at St. Clair and Bathurst, which he’s shared with roommate Jen MacDowell for the last three years.

Gorman appreciates that his large, open-concept apartment would be half the size at the rent he pays if it were a couple of blocks south. He enjoys the location that he describes as “one and a half subway stops from where anyone cool likes to live.”

Gorman was instantly attracted to the tree-lined streets and residential feel. “One of the reasons we chose the apartment is because, when we came to view it, we saw kids playing outside and camped out in tents all the way up the street.” Now that’s cool.
